Small Parts business Grows Big for Wedge Manufacturing in Birmingham
August 19, 2010 - (Birmingham, AL) - "Wedge Manufacturing, a high-precision machining firm in Birmingham, was born out of its parent company's desire to provide new parts for surgical instrument repair, instead of recycling old ones. But in the three years since its founding, Wedge has discovered a market among other medical companies, as well as other projects, including freezers that are now aboard the International Space Station."
