Solving Problems... Backwards
Our engineering team can reverse engineer parts and assemblies using either actual parts or specification drawings. Solidworks, a 3D CAD software system, is used to make 3D models after all critical features of the parts are measured. Finally, upon final approval by the customer, we deliver the design drawings showing all critical dimensions, and bearing both the customer's logo and proprietary labels.
Our multisensor measuring system can measure a part's features in the x, y, and z plane using a vision system and/or a touch probe. It has a rotary tool used to measure features around cylindrical parts at different angles. It is accurate to within +/- 2.4 micrometers.
